How to Choose and Buy Best Android Tablets Based on Features, Price

I m going to guide you How to Choose and Buy Best Android Tablets based on features & Price. Android is a Linux based operating system, developed by Android Inc. Google got its ownership in 2005, intending to achieve an edge in the mobile arena. The Android operating system is of an open source, naturally very attractive to device manufacturers, producing high quality devices. Android operating system is in use of large and growing community of developers, constantly busy in creating new applications for use on Android devices. Just for in interest of users, over 550,000 newAndroid phones are activated each day, Android device users total over 130 million.

Choosing a tablet in best price with best performance is really hectic job. It is not feasible for anyone to discuss each new tablet that gets released, as companies are releasing and introducing new products in dozens. So, under the circumstances a “get through guide” shall do to select a tablet, enabling you to choose the best Android tablet.

Android OS: Most of the tablets preloaded with Honeycomb Android 3.2 OS. This OS is specially designed for tablets for best experience while using the apps, games and other features. But now Google's latest Mobile Operating System is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich ICS which is available on both android phones and tablets.

Display: Screen is the most interacted and visible part of a tablet. Select a high quality, responsive screen. Better to go for tablets / screens that support 3 finger multi-touch or more. The screen and onscreen graphics should move smoothly when you swipe across them, photos should pinch and zoom smoothly when you interact with them.

Resolution: Prefer higher resolution. A 7 inch screen with 1024×600 is better than a 7 inch screen with 800×480; this specification makes huge reading easy. Look for 800×480, 800×600 and 1024×600 resolutions in 7 and 8 inch tabs. For 9 and 10 inch tabs the minimum you should expect is 1024×600.

Processor: For every tablet Processor plays key role to handling all the tasks simultaneously within matter of seconds. Moreover you must check whether the tablet can handle multitasking apps without any hiccups. I recommend choosing the best processor with more than 800 MHz CPU. And also you will get 1.2 GHz dual core processor but it costs high for you. So better to think yourself based on your needs and how far the table will be useful for your daily life works.

Graphics: It must be needed thing for every android tablet. Without graphics you can’t play games on the device. While you playing games on big screens, you will definitely need some extreme GPU capable to play both 3D and High Definition HD games

Memory & Ram: Android tablets typically use NP DDR SDRAM or LP DDR2 SDRAM. The LP DDR2 SDRAM is better, faster and has a higher throughput. Avoid tablets with less than 512 MB RAM.

Camera: Sometimes its hard to find the best camera in android tablets. Only few tablets have both rear and front camera options. Using Front camera you can do free video calls with friends in Skype Application.

PPI stands for pixels per inch prefer the higher. Do not settle for anything less than 144 PPI.

External Storage: Always look for tablets that support the highest capacity.

Wi-Fi: A tablet should support at least 802.11 b/g standards. Check the Wi-Fi connectivity of a tablet thoroughly, before buying.

Bluetooth:-This is not an essential feature but it is required if you want to transfer files .If a tablet has phone connectivity, it is better to have Bluetooth too. This will enable you to connect Bluetooth headphones

USB Ports: - Look for tablets that support USB 2.0 or above ports, USB OTG, Mini USB ports.

Proximity:-It detects the presence of objects near the screen. It can also be used to dim or put the device and screen on standby when not in use.

Barometer:-A barometer helps the GPS of your tablet to get a better and faster fix on your location by finding the height of your current location.

GPS: - This helps your tablet to find your present location and use it as a navigation tool

Battery Life: Battery capacity in mobile phones and tablets is measured in mAh, the more mAh you have the better it is. Avoid tablets with less than 3000 mAh batteries. For 10 inch tablets the minimum should be 4000 mAh. A 3000 mAh battery discharging at 3.7v will last longer than a 4500 mAh battery discharging at 7.5v.

Price: Price is also a most important factor before buying the best android tablet. A lot of android tablets are available from different prices like starting from 99$ to 1500$ in US and in India Rs. 5000/- to Rs. 50,000/-. It’s depends on your own decision whether to buy the expensive or cheap tablets based on the price tags.

Casing: - Always go for sturdy casing, the casing should feel sold. Ideally, a tablet with aluminum casing is the best.
